I’ve been hunting for soccer shoes that comfortably fit my 11.5 Wide (2E) feet for a long time. Soccer cleats run narrow by default, and most brands treat “wide” as an afterthought, if they offer it at all. My requirements are a little specific. I mostly play indoor soccer these days, so I need turf shoes rather than firm-ground cleats. I’ve been playing some co-ed rec soccer recently. It’s been a lot of fun, and also a reminder that I’ve gotten out of shape and I’m getting older (I’m now 34, and everyone else on my team is in their 20s). But I’m enjoying it nonetheless.
